The band been nominated for various Josie Awards for Independent Artists including Male Vocalist, Entertainer of the Year, Group of the Year and Video of the Year for “Blue Collar”. Kevin co-wrote “Blue Collar” with Billboard #1 hit songwriter Mason Douglas. The song had notable success reaching number 51 on the Music Row CountryBreakout chart and reaching over 100,000 digital streams. The fan favorite “Moonlight” co-written with #1 hit songwriter Jason Matthews reached number 64 on the Billboard Indicator radio chart.

These performances led to amazing opportunities including opening for many National Recording Artists: Eddie Montgomery from Montgomery Gentry, Frank Foster, Tracy Byrd, Creed Fisher, Tim Montana, Tyler Braden, Little River Band, Kolby Cooper, Ben Burgess, Mark Wills, Jon Pardi, Walker Montgomery and Dillon Carmichael. In addition, Kevin McCoy Band proudly supports their hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio with an annual performance on a float in the Reds Opening Day Parade and rocking the downtown streets during Taste of Cincinnati.
Kevin and the band had the honor of christening the main stage at the first ever Voices of America Country Music Fest in West Chester, Ohio - opening the show for some of country music’s hottest acts including Riley Green, Alabama, Lainey Wilson and Dan and Shay. The band also performed at Country Concert in Ft. Loramie, Ohio and is a regular act at the most popular Fairs and Festival in the tri-state area.
Kevin's been busy writing and recording, and he just wrapped up his latest singles with We the People Productions at SpeakEasy Recording Studios in Nashville.
